Have a Korean Hamer Californian from 2000-2002. Black Winter bridge and Duncan designed neck. It has a few scuffs. But it plays really well. 900 shipped.
So you guys will probably know here. There’s been a lot of internet hype that might’ve been around but I’m only just noticing it saying that the early say 2000-2004 Mesa v30’s are the “holy grail” V30 speaker. I also hear that that’s true for that particular 2000’s metal core tone and is the...
72 Seasons is incredibly boring for me. On top of that they didn't even really tour heavy to support the album. At least they tried something different with St. Anger, and the LuLu album. I might get flamed here for saying that but, ah well. Metallica are who they are at this point.
Picking up the Peavey tonight, and just found someone local selling some 96 T4355 V30 speakers with a Laney AOR cab. So I can have the K85 peavey, and a V30 loaded cab for the cost of one Mesa cab. Probably too much but I'll make it work LOL
Ah yea, I'm playing it with a cheap 4x12 that has celestion G12n-65. I'm going to buy a Mesa 2002-2003 cab to really kick it in. Maybe even replace the tubes to something not as rare, those old school mesa's are hard to find.
I own a strategy 500 and played the 400. The 400 is more manageable, but I like the 500 tone more. However most like the 400 better. It'll also sell faster, and is usually cheaper because there seem to be more of them. But if you got a good deal on one go for it.
Cool I’m planning on taking it to Mike to get the + mod based on talking with Gjgo. And for service I’m super excited. It’s not as tight as my mark iv but it’s got a character that other Mesa’s don’t. Can’t wait to play this on some v30’s
