    Impressed with the Quad Cortex!

I was wondering why (thought I could guess why) they hadn't they hadn't integrated their plugins. That changes the game for me if I can port Parallax, Mesa Mark, Soldano, etc. plugins. Killer.

    Driftwood Purple/Mini Nightmare Opinions

I'll be an outlier here. I like mine and it holds its own in what I think is a decent stable. It's not a unique sound but it scratches my 5150 itch. The feature set is great, it's solid, it's pretty well rounded. I'm always a little surprised by opinions of others on this head, but different...

What are the "in" reverb pedals these days?

I like the Chase Bliss/Meris CXM1978. Not really a gig pedal pretty killer tone.

    Driftwood Purple Nightmare

Good review. I know they get mixed reviews around here, but I've had mine for 6-7 years and really like it. I sort of liken it to a more polished 5150. Can get polished or go raw but has similar saturation. Smart design. Marek is great to deal with as well.

    So I did a thing....and now I'm poor again

I’m more familiar with their basses but that’s a stunning looking guitar. Enjoy. Curious to hear your thoughts on it.

Which bass should I get for bedroom recording?

While I’m not a big fan of active pickups on basses, I like active electronics. In terms of scale length, you should be fine with 34” if the bass is well crafted. All the brands above fall in that category if you find the right one. My Fodera 6 was tuned to A standard and is 33”. Sounded killer...

Maple Necks vs Roasted Maple Necks

I’ve always preferred the feel of a roasted maple neck.

    FS: Mayones Duvell Elite [KEEPING]

I have this listed on Reverb, but would prefer to sell here. Guitar is in great condition. Very resonant (partially due to the TEW ash body). Great guitar and amazing playability like all Mayones guitars. Top Wood: Quilted Maple Finish: Antique Black Body Wood: TEW Ash - Wood processed with...

    W800 el34 100 watt

Does this have the push/pull on the treble or is that the purpose of the switch? Also, would you know the year?

Parker Fly or Mayones Regius for shredding?🎸

In terms of playability, it’s hard to beat Mayones. I’ve owned a Regius and own a Duvell. Both have amazing attention to detail. Perfect fretwork. That said, in my revolving door of guitars, I’ll be selling the Duvell soon.
