Bought one frome Nadines as I was leaving GIT…had it for many years. Should grab abother sometime.

Used to use those purple tortex many moons ago. Went back to the regular size and using ultex now. Trying to decide if I like the 1.0 or .073’s.

Abigail is the best one imo. Remember being in college and hearing it on ZRock when it first came out. Bought the album that weekend. All of them up thru Conspiracy are awesome though. Seen them many times, always great.

He was stinking loud when I saw him with Wicked Alliance at the Alrosa…5 or 6 5150 full stacks and they were all cranked. He was louder than the pa system. Left after 5 or 6 tunes.

The phase inverter is the main difference in the CLX/UL if I remember right. UL uses a two tube setup and the CLX only the standard one tube. Mine was the dual tube with the KT88/6L6 switch.

I also had a Classic for a short time. Talking to Steve about it he said it was an old design and not representative of current models. This would have been early 2000’s.

I have been using the Ownhammer Rockbox whatevers….the Creamback 65 is the best one so far. Also the Digitech DF-7 has speaker models that sound great, most don’t know they are there. May try some of these recommendations.

For a 1-12 swap the speaker for a Redback or EVM 12. You won’t kill those.

The RG’s with pickguards look weird to me. MIJ 570’s are the ones I like. Tried a 450 awhile back, didn’t care for it. The lower RG’s are not that good imo.
