Remedy model to be exact. Clips are so good. and single channel super simple circuit + PTP wiring is cherry on top.
Anyone have any experience with these?
Normally, I wouldn't touch GC with a 10 feet pole.
But they are selling a used amp that from the photos, look to be in immaculate condition. and it's about 600-800 dollars less than what they go on ebay for. And they are soooo rarely on ebay nowadays.
With their 30day return policy (14 on some...
Mine is Cornford MK50h.
All I can say about this amp is... inspiring. Most articulate, natural sounding amp I've ever played / owned.
I've done countless posts here on the MK50h. I'm on my 3rd one since 08. And to this day, it still amazes me every time I plug into it.
Why 3rd one? No no...
Probably pretty dull but hey... I haven't been playing for a year! Couldn't crank it due to late hours but it sounds pretty nice I thought. I assume it'd get a bit thicker with more volume. I like its character a lot. It does blow my mind that you get this tone for $300 though that's for sure...
Anyone played/owned/own one? How would you define the sound?
I need sustainy, singing lead tones with clarity/definition. Think Cornford. I'll get another Cornford 99% but an amp head/whore always wonders as you know :D
So Bias Rite came in and I think I did everything right but there's a huge difference now with the amp. It feels like there's significantly less gain and the volume doesn't kick in until VERY loud. I can't experiment right now since it's 2:12am but I thought I should ask before I fire it up...
What's the difference between Modern and Vintage Classic? Is it pretty much like the difference between CCM and CCV?
Are they handwired? PTP?
Are they all tube? I remember silicon diodes added for more gain? Not that it matters if it sounds good. Just wondering. I've heard amazing clips!
I'm not even asking EQ qualities. Just articulate as hell. Both bridge and neck. Especially the neck.
Go
PS: I like Burstbuckers but I'm looking for a super woody, articulate sounding bridge & neck pickup.
Any thoughts?
I've never been a Marshall person so I'm pretty clueless but I'm interested in finding out about plexi's. I'd appreciate any info or 101 about all plexis including reissue. Which ones are sought after and whatnot.
Thanks in advance!

Things to note: I still think they are similar to a point where people would fail a blind test. My previous observations on their differences are more obvious but still stand I think. I found out that with Icemat gaming headphones...
...it looks like 5:00 PM thanks to all the fires going on in LA. Damn.. It seriously looks like sunset right now. Shadows are all orange/red. My car is covered in ashes and I can't breathe properly when I go outside... This is f'ed up :(
