I have a SLO-100 from 2004 that I use with a Mesa 4x12 cab that has 25w greenbacks. Its all personal opinion, but I play in a band that does 70's to current rock music and it nails anything with a few knob adjustments. Good Luck!

I have a 2008 QuickRod, I always thought the -10 was for pedals? the +4 was for rack gear? I have always just kept it pushed in for the -10 option. I do find the FX loop noisy on that amp. Always has been, any ideas to lower that noise down? Thanks.

Have a QR from 2008, always ran in 50W mode. Plenty of sound from it. Only uses the two inside power tubes, outside sockets stay empty on mine, flip the switch to half power mode. One thing I will say about Scott is he will give you more ideas and info about his amps, pretty cool you can call...
