Hell yeah, congrats on the NAD! :D A nice little trick with the 100S is the gain pot on the blue channel affects the gain on the red channel, like engaging a boost, so if you feel it's too over the top, completely roll back the gain on the blue channel. if you want all out brutality on the red...

I've had my stealth 100 6L6 for 8 months now and have rolled a bunch of tubes in and out of it, lower gain tubes dull out and thin out the amp. I ended up settling on Tung Sol in V1. NOS Shuguang in V2-V3, RFT's in V4 through V6, another NOS Shuguang in V7 and a Sovtek LPS in V8. I'm also...

The EVH 5150 III Stealth 100 I just acquired, it just relegated all my other amps to sit in the corner (Peavey XXX and Ultra Plus, 5150 Iconic and even my Rev C modded Triple)

I would still go for a 2 CH Triple, either F or G as they're natively tighter than the duals and call it a day. I'd still like to get another and keep it stock to go along with my Rev C modded one.

6L6's for me, tried various EL34's and couldn't jive with them in the amp.

Man, I can't get over how well this sounds and plays, top notch build quality! It's been a decade since I've purchased a new guitar, feels inspiring to play again.
