Who makes pickups to fit a Peavey Wolfgang?

Those Peavey pups are molten hot. Too hot for my liking. Ironically I have an Air Norton and Tone Zone. I found the Tone Zone too hot in other guitars but may try them in my 99 special.

I tried a Les Paul Classic, and I loved it. Would I be happy with an Edwards, rather?

I've heard good things about Edwards but can't recall playing one. As far as resale value you'll likely lose your shirt on an Edwards, Gibson likely not, maybe just 1 sock.

    Jcm2000 bias drift fix

Yup...Have a '98-100 with bias issue. Bought it in '09 from a doctor that hardly ever used it. Was my main gigging amp for 5 years but slowly became bias unstable. Shut it off for 8 years and tried to sell a few times without success. It was the 1st question every perspective buyer asked...

    TOOL Last Night...

Seen them a few months back. Light show was incredible. Singer stayed back in the shadows the whole night. As I understand it he has some type of extreme sensitivity to bright lights causing vertigo or something like that. He slung a few insults on the audience around cell phones. Not much of a...

The last KISS show is tonight. Thoughts?

Claiming its the end. They have a history of repeated ends. I hope they really follow thru this time.

    DSL resurrected

You can purchase a bias board kit from Dr Tube in parts or fully assembled form. You will need to modify your pin 5 position on the power tube sockets using a 5mm hollow drill. I opted to just buy a new mother board as my original board was aged 25 years. Buying used without knowing the amps...

    DSL resurrected

Great price on that amp. Got a '98 DSL100 that went down 7 years ago due to the bias drift. I let it sit for years while I played other amps. Bought a new board 6 months ago and the thing isn't too far removed from an 800 using the green channel. Rarely use the red channel. Gigged with it last...

    Gary Richrath WHOA!

Golden Country. Heard it yesterday and it brought me back in time. Richrath was a big influence on me. That live album was incredible. Seen them in '77 and they played that live album+. I believe he played an elevated 2×12 cab hence his lack of of some low end. He left his mark no doubt.

    Al Dimeola heart attack

How about...I pray for a speedy recovery. If you don't believe in God that's ok. Get well soon is an acceptable response. Correlating some type of vaccine into this thread tops one of the most stupid things I've ever read. Whomever initially brought it up is an idiot.

Bandleader criticized my rig at a tryout

When he steps out pick up his sax and piss in it. He's probably German, likes vinegar and pickles anyway and won't mind...might improve his vocals.

Derek St Holmes and Ted Nugent live in the 70's. Fuuuuck!!!

Seen him in 77 and they rocked it hard. I do solute the Nug for his longevity. Like Kiss I moved on to better music pretty quickly. His music and pentatonic licks fit in the 70s. Love Damn Yankees as he was surrounded by far superior musicians. Ya I've never done drugs, I didn't dodge the draft...

Tim Shaw pickups/What is the BFD?

They replicate the coveted PAF tone well. I have a set from an 87 LP and they're great pups. I don't think they're worth the insane asking prices though. Half of the cost is built on the hype and legacy these pups carry. As time marches on the BFD factor will only increase.
