I have a 5153 50 watt and I still love it but Id like some variety in my amp lineup, for those of you who love the head or have gone to something different what did you move to? I like the size, wattage and gain of the head but 50 or less for me these days...any recommendations appreciated...

When you guys are jamming and gigging how gainy are you rhythm guitars? Ive been boosting for solos lately and keeping the rhythm gain lower but I find if I keep the gain down I cant just kick into a lick or whatever, just getting some feedback from the experts here...

Killer little amp, loud as shit, really rips, not as much gain as the 50 watt and the blue channel is ever so slightly louder than the red, not much, it may just be the gain but it seems a bit, like the 50 watt head the blue Is fuller with more ummhhh...dig it and I grabbed it for under 600...

I know this board is mostly hard rock and metal based guys but is anyone using an open back 2x12 or 1x12 for their sounds?? I find I like the speaker layout for some partially open back cabs and the weight for sure is lighter...in the orange cabs the partially open back 2x12 is almost 30lbs...

I got the head like 3 weeks ago, and I was curious what you guys were using for EFX, reverb if any...and is anyone using an EQ in the loop? I cant decide if I like it better or not with the GE7 in the loop....opinions...thx
