Slightly yes but not as much as I was hoping for. I think I like my 800 with a pedal more than the Jub straight in.
I think I’d really like my 2204 with the hot mod to get that more modded Marshall thing.
Messed around tonight with cranking the lead master and using output master for overall volume. I think I liked that better than the other way around.
It’s a good amp just wish it was a tad more modern sounding than my 2204. It’s very sensitive to volume and EQ changes so I need to hear it...
I loved the tone of the Sig X but it wasn’t fun to play. It’s like even with a great high gain sound the notes disappeared fast. Mine was slightly microphonic too.
I’m a much better lead player now so I’d like to give it another try. I’d also love to play a deliverance with a loop.
I prefer mine on with the lead knob pulled out. No sure what that does technically but it makes it tighter and more percussive.
I assumed that meant I was taking the diodes away but no clue. Unfortunately it also makes the amp a little smaller and you can’t push the gain much to compensate...

I like the 2204 and Jcm 2000 way more…the Jubs are a very different circuit. Cool amps but I thought I’d like mine more based on the online fame.

Mines more LP but with neck-thru and better upper fret access. It definitely holds its own with most LP standards and classics I’ve owned.
The Japanese Electras are killer. Gotta fight the urge to swap pickups and such like with my first one.
