Does anyone know if these pedals, specifically the Wessex, uses FET transistors (redundant, I know) or op-amps? How about symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the clipping symmetrical or asymmetrical. It uses FETs instead of op amps so maybe that makes a difference? Anyone used this as a clean boost? If so would you call it transparent?
