Please ask Larry for gutshots, as he did an „evolution“ to the original trainwreck schematic in some details. I am not sure if these are secret. However, I have gutshots and the wiring is a piece of art! Clips? Maybe in the future. But I think a (compressed) youtube video won‘t do the amp justice.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to play an original Trainwreck Express. But if the originals sound as good as my Larry, they are certainly worth the price!

Hi? Just checking some amps with my Compu-Bias. The Pink Taco runs the power tubes pretty hot: But I think the JJ EL84 can stand it?!? What is your experience concerning tube wear or failure in the PT?

The left position is medium-gain. The middle Position is less gain (as I said like my trusty old JMP). The right Position is the browneye mode - as the stock PT. The voicing of the amp stays the same. The switch alters the gain content and structure. I think the mod costs 150 USD, but I bought...

Oh yes it sounds great! The middle Position sounds exactly like my 1978 JMP 50 Watt. And this with the Pink Taco's EL84 tubes!
