When the mids and bass disappears, what happens when you switch it to Standby? Does the amp crackle and pop? I'm having the same trouble as you. After a while the volume drops out and mids and bass is reduced. When I switch the amp to standby it crackles. When I switch it back on it's fine...

Hi, My tweaker 15 combo has recently started blowing the 250mA fast blo fuse. I've done some basic trouble shooting without success. I've pulled all the tubes from the amp and replaced the fuse. I can switch the amp On, but the moment that I switch the amp from standby into play the fuse...

Thanks for the reply... I replaced those with brand new tung-sols a while ago, so it hadn't occurred to me to try and swap them. I'll definately give it a go... with the problem being intermittent is there some other why to test whether the 12ax7's have gone bad?
