Hey, can't win em all. Appreciate the kind words folks. Also, for what it's worth, I think Rabea is a seriously monster player and I have nothing but respect for his playing, production, and all that he's accomplished. Of course everything is subjective and everyone's entitled to their opinions...
Really enjoying the new Neural DSP Archetype: Rabea. The synth is an awesome addition that sparked a bunch of ideas. Also, the "transpose" function works really well to drop the tuning of your guitar. Even works well on bass. Hope you dig it!
Thanks! I think it responds pretty well to the different guitars that I've got. Pretty simple EQ section that does what you want it to. My LP custom is a bit darker sounding that my LP Classic Custom but nothing that turning the presence up a bit wouldn't account for. Doesn't take a lot of...
I've only spent a little bit of time with the 30 so far, but I'm surprised at how big the 30 sounds. 100W power sections always have that bit of extra oomph to them, but the 30 is one of biggest sounding lower wattage amps that I've played.
Been a long time since I've played a Soldano, but this new iteration of the SLO-100 is a monster. I've got an SLO-30 here as well and they're both pretty killer. Just put up a full playthrough of the 100, hope you dig it! ⚡️

Usually 10-46 for E Standard and 10-52 for 1/2 step down, Drop C#, D Standard and Drop C. But again, there's lots of ways to go about it, this is just personal preference after experimenting over the years.
Thanks very much! On Les Pauls, I tend to use 10-52 for E Standard, Drop D, 1/2 Step Down, and Drop C#. I like the tighter bottom strings since I can tend to have a heavy hand. My main band plays in Drop C, so I'd been using an 11-56 set for that tuning but you can get away with a 10-52 as well...
Hey folks! Made a fun and pretty in depth video about how I've been going about micing up and recording guitar amps recently. Getting some cool sounds from a Peavey 5150 II and a Matchless Chieftain in this one. Hope you dig it!
Up for sale, a lightly used Boss ES-8 Loop Switcher. Has velcro on the bottom. Does not include the Boss wall wart power supply, but you can power these with any old 9v supply like Voodoo Labs, Friedman, 1Spot, etc. Works perfect.
SOLD
