Or did he ?
Don't think ive ever seen a Cameron Rectifier or MK series.
Come to think ive never seen a Cameron Bogner either.
Seems its always stolen Marshalls. :codeak:

I've played a Cameron modded Bogner XTC. He's also modded Peavey 6505's, Traynor's, Fender's and a bunch others. There aren't that many guys out there that mod Mesa/Boogie's. Only ones I know of are Third Age, JT, and Hermansson and those last 2 only mods for Rectifiers. I guess Jens Kruse did some Boogie mods too, but didn't sound that good to me in the clips

If I’m remembering correctly I almost bought a Cameron modded lee Jackson years ago .. I could just be a little buzzed tho....

My all time favorite amp. Played it for years.
FJA modded Mesa dual rec.
not more gain to say? But it was super tight
cross between a Mark and recto.
sold it for financial reasons.

Many men would say... the Mesa MK3 will out CCV any CCV...

Yes many men would say.

I own a Cameron modded Bogner XTC. He basically completely overhauled the green and red channels, but I can still access the base sounds for the blue and red. Had a few other ecstacys through the years but I have had this one for 12yrs now. I barely play anymore so I have put it up for sale a few times but never have struck a deal🤷‍♂️

From an amp modders perspective, modding a Mesa is very unsatisfying - tightly packed circuit board under a bunch of wires. Just no fun.
