Good Hamburger or Good Steak

I'd cook my own $10 steak over both options, anyday.

Great thread! I eat a ribeye steak about 3 times a week and they are nothing short of amazing. That being said, burgers tend to have more goodies/condiments that ultimately win my vote.

The steak is way more civilized and top shelf. The burger is the ultimate fun food (not counting desert). Pizza is a close second!

Fwoaaahh... those steaks look friggin' awesome, Brother CentristNutz!

My solution to this dilemma:
Have the best of both worlds and cook a steak and whack it into a burger.:cheers2:

I do love a good burger. I was craving one, but being on carb restriction I had to find a alternative.
This one pretty much hit the spot:

Just go a extra mile on that treadmill and eat what ever you want. Cat has 0 carbs

I cycle 20 to 40 miles weekly, many times pulling my 40lbs grandson behind me. Was still gaining weight.

Cutting carbs, and sugar did the trick.

If you introduce carbs, and sugar, your body will store the fat, and burn the carbs/sugar as energy.
Take away the carbs, and sugar, your body will burn the fat. If you have no fat it might start burning muscle.

Its true, I cut out sugary drinks and bread for a couple months and lost like 40 lbs. But muscle is metabolically expensive...if you are not careful you will burn muscle too. (Like you said)
