This started as a Gary Moore faded-Fiesta Red Strat inspired build but ended up what it is. I originally bought the Warmoth roasted Maple neck for a Warmoth body. But they didn't mate up that well and didn't look right either. Replaced the neck on that body. I bought this 1-pc Ash body from Mills already finished in TruGrain Dakota Red. These two like each other. Neck is nice and snug. I basically bolted it on, quickly set action and it plays and sounds great. The BK Black Dog in the bridge sounds really good. The DiMarzio Areas sound like DiMarzio Areas...decent but not real singles. Alone (i.e. neck alone or middle alone) they sound pretty good tho. Really wish I would have gotten clay dots on the neck.
