Because honestly , to me so far , it hangs with my Herbert, and is eerily similar. Super killer edge of break up to jcm800 tones with this guy as well. Maybe not the low end of the Herbert, but plugging into this thing and reamping some tracks I enjoy made me realize once again, YouTube is full of morons who don’t know how to get great tones. This thing is great! Huge fan so far. Not sure I can justify keeping both the Herbert and this, but we will see. I’ve got an archon coming tomorrow as well, so I’ll see how that compares as well....

anyways, here’s a few clips: ch2, and ch1 mode 3, both boosted with peppers dirty tree. This is super raw: slightly noisey with no noise gate because I wanted it as raw possible. Anyways I dig it, it’s Diezel through and through, and is a viable option if you can’t afford a Herbert. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Always liked the Einstein, and the fact you can easily mod it to switch between the modes is a huge deal, just never seem to see any for sale around my neck of the woods..

Diezel Einstein retube, and biased COLDER with genelex KT77s. This thing slays now. GL 12ax7 in V1 as well. Dropping down the bias to about 40-45ma’s per set made the amp much tighter, bolder, and betters highs. Peter will hate me, but give it a shot in your Herbert as well, you won’t be disappointed 😉 this clip was cut alittle hot, but man it rules, much improved over my clips from yesterday and nothing changed other than the bias and tube swap.
