JJ depth/resonance question

Dave,

You had mentioned that our stock JJ's have a resonance/depth adjustment internally set to 1/4. I know you've done the mods to add a pot externally. Without having the external pot is depth something that's adjustable by the user?

Thanks!

I doubt there is a pot inside, it is probably set by a resistor. If a 1M pot was used for the resonance then a quarter turn would be around 250k . So the resistor is the resonance circuit is probably around this value.

No pot inside. There is a fixed resistor and cap, a 220 k and a .0047 Smaller resistor will be less bass.
@RACKSYSTEMS if I were to try to match up the low end of both my BE100D (with frequency to the right) and BE100, where on the thump pot is close to 220k? I would think 9:00 but it’s not a linear pot, so to my ears it maybe around 1:00?
