Anyone familiar with this pup ? How does it compare to the JB? Is it tight enough ?

If it's the same one they put in the Dime 3's in the 90's they're a great pickup. Not super hot (13k range), but tight and articulate. Better than the Dimebucker by far. Less output and treble than a JB.

So I got it installed and so far I dig it . It does have less output than the JB but I think it's more bright. But yeah it is tight, really articulate and it responds a lot to your playing. Awesome attack! I ll post a clip soon!

So I have 1 of these. . It just says Bill Lawrence USA, and LSR USA on it. It appears to have white, black, red, and ground wires in a grey wrap: . How do I know which model it is?

They have a range of dc resistances with the XL being highest (still only like 11k or 12k if I remember right).

I also have an older USA one from the 90’s out of a Washburn Nuno sig, not currently using it in anything. Very unique pickup, lots of treble, almost sounds to me like a single coil but with more bass and output and it’s noiseless.
