Any Ibanez love? My first venture..

Got this budget RG421 for $325 on Amazon new. Couldn’t resist, looked so cool. Reviews were actually very good. Holy hell, I am stunned. Out of the box just needed a little tweaking. I thought I would have to replace the tuners, but it won’t go out of tune! Figured I’d replace the bridge pickup..but it is smooth yet articulate. This could become a gateway drug….

I love Ibanez . I have 3 original RG228s that I play daily . They make great stuff .

Ibanez are great. If you want to go higher end, a stock Japanese Prestige, new or used, won't set you back too much and is truly an excellent guitar. I think I got my RG for $1500 from sweetwater and, of course I made some modifications, but it didn't truly need any. (Actually the only brand new guitar I've ever bought) And if it matters to you, I believe they have the best upper fret access of almost any guitar out there.
