YOU EVER PATCH THE EFFECTS LOOP SEND AND RETURN WITH ONE CABLE? HEARD IT REALLY OPENS IT UP AND ADDS BALLS. sorry-didn't mean to yell. basically adds another gain stage. from what I understand the designer of this amp designed it for a scorpions and Schenker tone and the production models are different from the original. Supposed to be a simple mod to make it like the original design. I've always wanted one of these.

from the designer-
Try it with Gain 10, Bass 10, Presence 10, Mid 2-3, Treble 4
use those settings and put a Parametric EQ, then a Noise Gate in front of it. Boost around 1k with a tight Q and a lot of level. Like putting a HOT wa in front at a fixed position. Use the gate to cut the noise.

Yeah I saw that on YouTube....and I've done that with the 100 watter i have....it does add some gain but it has plenty.....sounds like a 800 WIth more gain to me

isn't that crazy? wonder if that loop trick will work on other amps....bump....
 
Still available...alot of interest but still here. May trade for a nice Gibson SG standard. Or handrail American strat with humbucker in bridge
