NGD - Gibson Les Paul Studio w ebony fretboard + EMGs

Although I've played many Gibson guitars, this is officially my 1st ever Gibson Les Paul! I got it for 550 shipped with its original case / Gotoh tuners/ EMG set. I have a thing for ebony fretboards and it's not really common on Studios. It's a 2003 model and I love how heavy it is and sounds! It has seen better days and it even has a crack repair but for the money I paid for it, I don't really care! I don't know if I will end up keeping it but I can't put it down. One idea would be to swap the original bridge with a black one and get some nice black locking tuners too. I'm sure it will look awesome that way. Anyway, here are some photos and a short clip I recorded.

Ebony fretboard is standard for early 90’s. On ‘03 is not ussual at all. I recommend 57/66 upgrade

dude the 90's studios are amazing! the ones like yours and the studio lites all had ebony boards and sounded sick.

I’ve played studios that sounded and played better than $8k new Murphy Gibson's. And I’m not saying that because I can’t afford them - I have three fully restored vintage LPCs. Legit killer sounding guitar and rig man!

For reals, a good studio can sound better than a dog LP. LPs are all over the place, and a good studio is killer.

one of the best sounding guitars i ever owned was a 1996 or 1997 studio with a rosewood board & a old EMG 81 in the bridge. it sounded massive tuned to D standard(my main tuning)

I agree it's very impressive what it does it turns everything on fire congratulations the studios with ebony are great guitars I've had a few of them
