1988 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue Pre Historic!

Good Plus Condition! The Guitar has been played. There are som little indentations, dings, marks, some light worming on the back, most of these you can't see unless the guitar is in the right light, and only one through the finish on the horn. All original except for the pots and caps which were upgraded to CTS 500 K pots and orange drop caps by the original owner. Has the original Bill Lawrence pick ups! Frets look great without any marks on them. Nice flame top that never had a pickguard installed. The guitar weighs 8.5 pounds on my bathroom scale. The neck measures .84 inches on the 1st fret and .97 on the 12th fret. Crack on the bridge pickup ring by the screw. Crack all the way through on the neck pickup ring. All flaws were done by the previous owner. I have babied this guitar it's been hanging on the wall for 15+ years. It's never left my smoke and pet free home. Includes Gibson case that came with the guitar when I bought it.

Lastly, yes I know that serial number starts with an 8 are usually a 58 reissue. However this is how Gibson did the serial numbers in 1988. They started the serial number with the year the guitar was made. Contact Gibson for questions and comments.
