NPD- TC electronics booster + clips

I pulled the trigger on this one but I've never tried it. Ian Scott says he used it as a boost in front of his jcm 800 back in the 80s. Has anyone tried it ? And before you ask, no my mesa amps don't need a boost but I got an incoming amp next week!

Yeah, I´ve had one of those for years. I don't do much actual boosting with it, but I like the contour of the bass and treble filters as a pre-shaper and the general sound of it engaged. More like an extension or fine-tuning of the pickups, I suppose, very subtle compared to how a lot of dudes use it for the extreme stuff.
