Watching live recordings those two were in almost constant eye contact. Often smiling and rolling their eyes when Jimmy went off into Jimmy-timing.

Everyone knows Bonham is a God, but Jonesy is just as talented. He doesn't get nearly enough credit. The man is a musical beast. Plus, that guy can write songs. Hell, he wrote the riff to Black Dog.
In the first part the Houston 77 show, Jonesy's bass is way up there in the mix and you can clearly hear his playing. Stellar. Page should have mixed his parts louder on the albums.
