Marshall Amp question..

Was in a restaurant last nite. Bands setting up in the bar. I strolled though very very quickly headed to my table.

It looked like a 2-hole marshall, big script logo, with the silver toggles on left. Did I hallucinate?

The MV Marshalls first came out in 76. It was a transition year as some head shells had large, some small script. Some chassis had the new rocker switches, some the older silver switches. Could be a normal USA MV Marshall for the year. Or, as others said it could be a Canadian model as they kept the silver switches and JMP look into the mid 80s even after they became JCM 800s in England and USA.

How loud was it? Did they run everyone out of the restaurant?
Actually it was a big bar area. And it absorbed the volume well. We were seated couple rooms over, and never heard them until we walked back by, otw out.

They were at a decent gig volume but definitely had it throttled back, best I could sense.
