Very cool jcm 900 add I found

What 5881's did the OG 900's ship with? Was it the same Sovteks as Soldanos? Or was it actual 5881's?
 
I've always loved the look of a 900... no idea why, never played one either
 
Maybe the last ad for the 900s, the JCM2000 line rolled out in 1997. But yeah, Kiss were surprisingly relevant in the mid 90s, compared to a lot of other 70s and 80s bands... that reunion was a huge deal.

These actually amps are for sake on reverb. 2 or the SLXs that work
 
I know Dave Navarro and John 5 and morbid Angel use 900s still a lot. Who else ?

Yeah he’s out there a little bit. I think he worked great for what they were doing. Not so much when they kinda tried to go over commercially. But doing the 70’s vibe with death , doom and sludge all rolled into one was pretty freaking awesome back then. I think I sent Japetus a video of me playing the intro to ride on my custom preamp the other day.
 
I had both the standard reverb and non-reverb models at one point - both really nice amps
Never had the chance to try an SL-X though
