Does it seem like a good trade for a 71 martin d28 it has some crackle in the finish wit a split in the body for a fractal axefx 2
 
You're trading the fractal for a Martin or you want to trade your Martin for a Fractal?
 
If it’s not trashed the Martin is worth more….especially if it’s a d28 herringbone.
 
A Martin like that in need of minor tlc is worth more than a part ownership opportunity in some fancy electronic squawk box. Fractal my butt if you're gonna trade at least get more than part ownership in it. I didn't know they had timeshares for pedals now.
 
I would love to have it personally. I’m a Martin guy and really love the 28’s….plus 71 is the year I was born so….yeah…I would jump on that one in a heartbeat…
 
Local guy is selling a blinged out Martin for like 4k….probably 10k new…. I made love to the picture a couple times. I can’t afford it but it’s an heirloom piece….

Kinda sucks I'm gassing for shit but fromy search the d28 ebony fretboard it has some spitting on the bridge and a split from the bridge o the binding and a kinda shattered finish in a couple spots I know the price will go up on the antique Im just not into the acoustic thing anymore.i hate my constant addiction to different shi*t man uggy I love/hate chasing parked/fast car's bonk

Get the guitar fixed.

I once got rid of a vintage Gibson LG-1 that I had gotten CHEAP. I regret that decision more than any single piece of gear or guitars to this day because it was a tone machine.

DON'T DO IT OR I'M REPORTING THIS TO THE MODS!!!!

Shit I would love to have that thing. Not in a position to buy right now but I will be in a couple months. Hopefully.
 
Actually watched a YouTube video of a guy fixing up a 70’s d28. Pretty amazing video. He had it playing like butter when he was done. Not sure what the cost was but worth it imo.
