That shitty iPhone clip sounds good. I can’t get mine to sound like that ever.
 
Love that tight, crunchy, percussive low end...Without an overbearing "clank".
 
Hell ya ! Metal machine . It’s crazy it can be heard with drums and a band . It can’t get drowned . I think that’s what I like best . It’s like a sledgehammer!

Gotta be something wrong. It’s plug in and rip. Gain was at 1 o’clock. using EMG 81s though. What’s yours sound like?
 
Thought you might break into thunder kiss 65 on those 1st couple chugs ? sounds awesome ?

It honestly sounds and feels like a blend of a Mark Series and (Good) a Recto. Immediacy of the Mark but the tone and girth of a Recto.

Sounds like a pretty good combination to me...Many of us always wanted a little mark series DNA in our recto.

Congrats on the amp! That thing sounds incredible on your recording! Those rectifier do sound so good after he mods them!

Definitely low fi and muffled via iPhone but kinda gets the idea across. I’ll do some proper clips soon.

Lemme rephrase…. I can’t make anything sound like that even if I did have a Hermansson, Larry, or Jose…
