Lmao . Ya it does not make sense does itShould have gotten your 50 vaccines/boosters like the rest of us.. because really, they didn't make that much difference at all![]()
It's 'supposed' to keep peeps from getting the lung filling pneumonia that unfortunately is what Covid deaths are caused by.....for the most part anyway. To keep people from being hospitalized from it. I had Covid, back in 2020 for 4 days..Flu like...then slept all day for a week...then over.Should have gotten your 50 vaccines/boosters like the rest of us.. because really, they didn't make that much difference at all![]()
I think that amp sounds amazing! I sing in a Skynyrd cover band. That amp sounds like it would nail the Skynyrd tone.I don’t want this to turn into a pro vax/anti vax shitfest. I made my choice on what I wanted to do and with how much better I’m already, I don’t regret it. Anyone else have this amp on their radar? Interested in different stylistic takes on what people would play as my Lick Closet is fit for a Japanese apartment.
Ooh! I’m definitely gonna have to bust out some LS on this. I really need to get me a Strat. I’ve got Gibby covered but I’ll never get my true 70’s rock fix without a Strat too.I think that amp sounds amazing! I sing in a Skynyrd cover band. That amp sounds like it would nail the Skynyrd tone.
I guess that's the thing, without the booster you chance it. In most cases, mild flu or bad flu but no lungs filling. However when it is just right, things can take a turn for the worse. I joke because Covid was nothing for me but I do have bad asthma in my older age and every time I have gotten a cold in last year or two, my lungs take a beating. My wife always has to check up on me if I am sleeping in the other room and I need my puffer and more upright sleeping with a steam machine in the room. Maybe with no vaccines I would have been fine anyway but I didn't want to chance it. Got lucky compared to some.
I didn’t use it in the video I made, but when I was initially making sure the amp was working OK out of the box I did put my sparkle drive on for a moment, and it took it really well as a boost. I was hoping it’ll take pedals OK and it seems that will be the case. But in the 1967 and 1970 setting with everything on 10 and the bass down to keep it tight, it’s a pretty hard rock in’ machine.Circling back to the amp, all the clips I have heard have been impressive. It sounds rich, creamy yet detailed. Like a good dessert. I would like to see someone everything on 10 this thing and pound it like flatbread but I guess it would do it with a good EQ boost, hot pup, variac, and some hands.
Feel better. Thanks for the well wishes guys. Got on the Pax pretty quick (love me some Dr On Demand) and I think it’s helping curtail it. I’m a fair bit better than the first few days which started Saturday but this crap is notorious for holding on or coming back in strength so staying positive. I know because my test this morning said so…lol When I get my new Interface I’ll try a proper recording. I have an assortment of speakers so if anyone is curious I could do different takes on different settings with different speakers. I got a Joyo re-amp box a while ago and this could be a good way to use it.
I can’t t find on their site any talk of using SS rectification at all. I thought maybe it would do that for the 70 setting at least but I think it’s 5AR4 all the time.I agree that many/most of the clips I've heard sound really great. Does anybody know if it is automatically switching between the tube rectifier and SS rectification when you switch the Mode switch?
I had covid once. I ate spicy pho and the fever went away.
What amps did they use? Cheap peavey solid states or what? I always saw them with pv in their back line back in the day…I think that amp sounds amazing! I sing in a Skynyrd cover band. That amp sounds like it would nail the Skynyrd tone.
In the early days, old Marshall’s, Fender’s etc. after a while they did start using Peavey’s, but Peavey tube amps, possibly some hybrids here and there but still tube heads. What amps did they use? Cheap peavey solid states or what? I always saw them with pv in their back line back in the day…
thanks....worst concert I ever went to was them at the state fair. pathetic. didn't play 30 minutes and the singer acted like a dick.In the early days, old Marshall’s, Fender’s etc. after a while they did start using Peavey’s, but Peavey tube amps, possibly some hybrids here and there but still tube heads.
I figured that prs would be a keeper for you dude. Whatever you get keep the clips coming….Looking at this amp seriously. To replace the PRS HRDX, which I'm tired of. Way more options, great sounding. I can use the Power Station for effects loop.
