Saw Tesla tonight in Vegas. They still kick ass
Few things:
1) they sound great - got some pics of the rigs
2) loud as fuck and all them… no stupid click tracks. 110dB all night
3) Eddie Trunk introduced them at house of blues which held prolly 800 so it was quaint.
4) so quaint which leads to the last point: some fucking douche nozzle tried to start shit with me and I wasn’t budging. This cock sucker looked like the douchiest man in the world then it came true. He and his wife were moving all over acting as if they owned House of Blues then they stood in front of my wife then I knew I might have to get into it ?. Fuck. I hate arguing but this bitch started in on me and finally my wife said he is not worth fighting with then called him the “tiger king”. After what seemed like 10 mins, prolly 60 seconds, he started to argue with security as they knew he was an issue and showed up. Dumb ass.

Anyway it didn’t ruin my show but here are some vids including the tiger king. I pray it’s not one of us.

As soon as I saw the sparkling jerk jacket I knew who you were talking about.

I have always liked Tesla. Great band. They kind of fell into the hard rock category but they remind me more of like a classic rock type group, like the Black Crows. Great guitar tones. Les Pauls. Great songwriting. Nice to see them still out there playing. Hopefully they are making a few bucks doing it.
 
Yeah that jacket's a dead giveaway....douchey to the extreme. Haha you couldn't pay me to wear that. But it looks good on him though..:ROFLMAO:

My old guitar teacher Tom Armstrong-Leavitt toured with them for a bit

I bought a Kramer Baretta from Tom Skeoch way back before they were famous. He was a grumpy little guy. Turned out one of the neck screws was stripped.
 
Man I saw Tesla last night also!!! Took my smokin hot wife and had her grinding on the rails in front of the seats. Fans were watching her more than Tesla….they thought I was her pimp because of my awesome jacket I was wearing….some dude tried to start some shit with me but I told him I knew Pokémon karate and he better sit down or I would sweep his legs and sit him down….
 
Sound quality was great. Not a bad seat in the house. They have massive line arrays for vocals and mix. Yeah these guys are legit rock and roll @VonBonfire. They all appeared to have a great time while playing. I have some more vids of the show if anyone interested

As far as the tiger king was concerned,
I went to sleep thinking he had a true Vegas Strip look about him… he was comically stupid acting before the show in line. He acted as if everyone knows him or everyone wanted to be him. Pointing out everyone and thing like a fabulous dolt. He had rings on bigger than Super Bowl watch faces. Two people came to mind 1) Wayne Newton and 2) geico liberty biberty knuckle head.

Today is the anniversary of the LV shooting ?. Stay safe guys
 
Ha!! Steve….. that guy was too short to be you!! Karate no go in that theater. Sweeping legs, Crane technique and painting fences….this would have been all brawl close quarters and rolling around.

You could see this guy from 100 yards away. Fucker never fully turned around at me, just partially turning and saying shit. His body language told me all talk. Deep down I knew we would all go to jail had it escalated.

Yeah see that’s the real question. When he dresses like that, is he looking in the mirror thinking; “everyone wants to be me”. Maybe and I guess the world needs folks like that so the rest of us can think, in our own minds, DO NOT under any circumstances try look like this guy. This guy was a a huge parity on 1980’s Miami Vice which looks good on TV but doesn’t come across well in real life. I wonder what he thinks when he goes home. Whoever the chic was with him was pissed because she kept coaxing him to do something. He told me I ruined his night. Ha.

A good push off the balcony would have done the trick. A good "Sic semper tyrannis!!!" would have been a nice historical allusion too.
