Saw this amp at a local shop, never heard of them, but was curious. Did some research on the interwebs and saw some damn good tone demos. The lingering question from some of the threads I saw was if it could get any sort of Metal type tones. I hit the front with a Dirty Tree to find out!

Let me know what you think! Anyone else ran into one of the Brunetti amps out there? They're an Italian Boutique Amp Company, hand built etc

I have been looking for a Brunetti XL for over a year now. Two finally popped up on Reverb, one in the US but more than I wanted to spend. The other one is still listed but in Italy with a matching cab, not sure I really want to have an amp shipped like that but I'll admit it's crossed my mind a few times.

As for the pleximan, there is an all black one right now on Guitar Center used section, priced about the same as a brand new one costs. Of course, I can't find a brand new one for sale anywhere. Anyway, sounds good in the video

Cool amp, thanks for the demo.

Clip sounds kinda thin and anemic in my opinion
What are you listening on? This plays a big part. I typically listen on my bluetooth speakers, buds, tv and laptop before posting. Sounds absolutely tremendous on buds as well as bluetooth speakers. Cell phone audio, laptop and TV typically leave a lot to be desired.

I listened on a Boston Acoustics 2.1 system
Very interesting indeed, even on my little ol Harmon/Kardon Bluetooth Speaker it sounds quite stout. Keep in mind This is a live track you're hearing, no post processing, no multiple tracks. The raw amp through a cab on a mic'd & the in room mic you see, into an interface directly into my iPhone. I do this to give a better representation of what you'll actually hear in the room vs. post processed/multi tracked studio magic type stuff.

This video is still uploading currently, but is just my cell phone in front of my small bluetooth speaker & laptop

I'd like to hear it in a mix with bass and drums if you end up doing one!
I plan on getting around to doing stuff like that at some point, for now I'm focused on sharing the raw amp tones. I feel that a lot of folks think the amps actually sound how you hear them in a recording in real life. For most amps that's quite a ways off. This thing sounded absolutely insane in the room, and you can see some of what I have to compare it to right there in the video, and in my signature, it's definitely far from anemic/thin. I'm just stumped at how it would sound thin on any Boston Acoustic system, but sounds HUGE on a little ol Harmon/Kardon speaker, an even smaller JBL Flip 5 speaker, and Samsung Galaxy Buds. I wonder if they just pump up the bass frequencies and I'm sitting here thinking stuff sounds great when it doesn't lol

Cool amp, thanks for the demo.
Much appreciated! It's also serial#0000! Apparently a pre-production demo!

By chance what were you listening on? With Devin saying it sounded thin/anemic on his side I think I may need to get more sources of audio to tone check before posting videos.

TIA

You can find Brunetti amps pretty cheap in Europe and people don't think too much of them usually. Which is weird because they sound pretty good and come in a lot of flavours especially the older ones.
You should also look into Masotti amps which are related to Mezzabarba and can be found pretty cheap too. Also made in Italy!

I would be interested in a video where you tune it to a Marshall sound.

I have a brunetti t rack head, great stereo 50/20 watts a side

I started with Metal since no one had done it yet, and it sounded damn good IMO! Plenty of other Marshall sounding videos, but I still plan on that as well!

Afraid it was just basic headphones into a laptop. But don’t let that bum you out, I thought the tone was good enough for a realistic demo where there wasn’t some kind of tone matching or other shenanigans going on.

Damn, thanks, yet another weird amp to add to my want list
Clips of the Masotti X100M sound fricken fantastic

I’m not sure this amp can do wet paper bag, let alone metal.

I don't think it sounds that bad, but I'd have to hear it in a full mix to make a final judgement

It has upper midrange bark, for sure, but the thinness could either be the recording or the amp itself, so it's kind of up in the air
