Not many videos of the MC25 out there so I threw one together. I don’t record for a living but I’m trying to get better. This one turned out decent. Settings are in the second pic during the playing. Lead channel with the boost off and the gain just past noon.

They are definitely deserving of the hype. Best live tone that I ever heard was Damon Johnson’s Wizard with Thin Lizzy.

The MC25 is my favorite Wizard tone of all the Wizards I've owned. I just sold a 6v6 and it is an incredible amp, just don't play much otherwise would have kept it. Add an ISP sub...HUGE SOUND!

It’s definitely a huge sounding amp as it is. Hits above its weight class for sure. Rick built this one for WizardSouthJP around those 6L6 tubes. I remember his for sale ad telling folks to please not ask Rick to make them one. Lol.

I think it’s just one volume and one tone. It’s not as close as a regular strat knob placement.

It’s reverb from the Captor X and a bit of delay on the solo from Ableton. It’s the lead channel with the boost OFF and the gain around noon. It does in fact rip and I’m glad JP sold it to me.
