It doesn’t address the extreme power of big pharma but: drug costs could be drastically reduced if the ad onslaught (commercial time) was cut in half.
There is certainly no one person, or even a group to take them on and make a difference…too big to not have their way.

Maybe,
but the biggest advertiser on all the news channels is Big Pharma. No news channel is gonna say anything bad about Big Pharma. If a newscaster does they'd be fired by an executive in a heartbeat. Can't sever the hand that feeds you kinda thing
