I have the early proto he did with my 71 Super Bass. The gain at 11O'clock is like any other amp on 10 and beyond. Its pretty crazy the amount of gain. Good thing is its usable from zero till about seven. Thats where its pretty much maxed out on mine. No noticeable difference after that, but tons of options gain wise within those parameters.
