Hey Guys,

I recently found this very rare piece in Ulm, Germany.
Reinhold modded the amp for a local guy in 1984.

It started life as a 1977 Fender Dual Showman Reverb.
It has a clean and overdrive channel, a tube fx loop, and a footswitchable "submaster" that further decreases the volume so it acts like a volume boost if you turn it off.
The presence control is a variable NFB and has a big impact on the overall tone.
The spring reverb still works but Reinhold interestingly got rid of the tube driver stages and replaced them with solid-state ones.

Here's how the amp sounds with my modded 1989 1960BV cab.

A lot of guys hear about the "evils" of the UL transformers....but in my opinion they aren't bad at all and actually have a unique tone.
I might make a video of the amp running from the FX send into the return of my Hot Chili to hear how it sounds with a classic EL34 power section and plexi-style OT.

That would probably blow the feathers in Reinhold's hair back pretty good. Would love to hear that combo....
