The effects you have on your board in between your guitar and amp. How many, and what are they? We'll see who's all organic bro.

I had an Orbit Flanger, it was super sweet. Strymon does make some nice pedals.

yea dude i had a keeley andy timmons halo for delay and a walrus audio for reverb on this board previously but ended up swapping them out

i dont have a picture of my old board that Dave built for me but that board was like the size of a f150 bed lol....just insanity

Who was your co-pilot during your practice sessions?

lol it was out of control man...a lot of fun, but waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy more than anyone could ever need

it was truly at the point where without a midi switcher with presets it was unusable in any amount of reasonable time spent tweaking

While Chuck used a JCM 800 occasionally; most of his tone came from his Marshall Valvestate 8100, with only a little chorus for his leads.

Let's talk about your equipment?

Well, I really have a simple set up. I've been playing the B.C.Rich Stealth for years now. I have three of them, one is a custom black one that is my main stage guitar, one is an emerald green that is really beautiful, and an old one that I recently stripped down. They all have a fixed bridge and one Dimarzio X2N pickup which is a key to my sound. My amp is a Marshall Valvestate head and cabinet, that's about it. I don't use effects except for a little chorus on my leads, I really like a basic setup.

The guitar on the sound of perseverance, really resonated with me today. All of them, even the acoustic sounds great on that album. Was very impressed.

As much as I love the sound, if I had $900 for an amp, I'd buy a Laney GH100L

sure it wasn't a pignose with a fart pedal on up front?

also bass; Steve DiGiorgio was a great addition IMO, but he was gone before SOP was recorded...he's on some early demos of SOP songs IIRC
