Have a vintage 74 phase 90 out front going into my Jet City 20, a cheap delay in the loop going into a Suhr ISO line out, straight into the SPX90 (using the Symphonic preset) into a Boogie S400 power amp. I was just noodling around and when I started to play VH, I was shock how good it sounded. So I pulled out the iPhone and recorded some tapping (yes, I know I’m playing it wrong 🤣). I was surprised that you can’t really hear much of the chorusing effect. If you listen carefully, you can hear it in the beginning a little bit.

What is the Symphonic preset? Is that the famous chorus detune that Zakk Wylde used? It sounds really good. Were you driving one 4x12 with the JC20 and two other cabs with the Mesa Strategy 400?

You have played the forbidden RIFF............................................:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

Now you must pay the PRICE........

Yeah, that’s the Zakk chorus preset. 🤣 It really is a great unit just for the symphonic preset.

Going through two cabs for dry and two for wet.

Love my SPX90.
#23 'Pitch Change C' is my fave. W/D/W adjusting level on the SM10, ease it in for a kinda subtle 1984 detune, crank it for a full Deleo/FUCK-EVH tone. Running it very low to where you can't really notice it, but you can def tell it when it's totally off is cool too, like a spacial sweetener.
'Symphonic' feels a bit too heavy handed for a regular setting all the time for me.

I like how you kept the video black to prevent others from stealing the technique. Gotta stay one step ahead of the thief bastards.

Symphonic is some crazy shit. I've got the Leon Todd recreation running in my main patch on my Fractal. It's not a subtle sound but man is it a tasty one.

I like the pitch change presets as well. I'll tinker with C.

I had the frequency set to 2 in the clip...which is not very high. I do like it around 6 though and for Ozzy stuff its perfect. I spared everyone from posting Ozzy clips, but you damn well know I have some. :ROFLMAO:

All I want to hear is Ozzy clips. All day every day

I think mine is currently on something like - LH delay 3ms - Fine +8 and RH delay 9ms, Fine -11.
Prob used Ed's style detune 3ms/+9 & 6ms/-9 as a starting point and tweak some offsets up or down from there. Sometimes I like having one side delay up to 20-25ms too.
