I think Jazz III's are too small.
I've tried to play with Jazz III's, I've wanted to like them, but I can barely keep a grip on them. Enter the Jazz III XL. I didn't even know they existed until I happened to grab one at a buddy's house and after playing around with it for a minute or two, I kind of flipped out over how much I liked it. They're shaped like a Jazz III but scaled up to feel just about sized directly between a Jazz III and a standard pick. After buying my own and using them for a while, I picked up an old standard sized Tortex I had laying around and it weirdly felt massive. I always grip picks just about as close the picking point as I can, and going back to standard size Tortex just felt like there was way too much extra material. Weird how fast the set point for what you're used to can change, but there you go.
If you haven't tried these things, I'd recommend giving them a shot. They're awesome. That is all.
