Insane rack.
Thanks, man. I used to have so much more in it. I had a cantrell modded fish, a soldano rack, a 3+se, the matchless preamp, the demeter, a 2290, the real tri-chorus from the 80s, all sorts of shit. Then I realized I was insane and moved the pieces. RIP

Dayum that is SPECTACULAR!
Definite hearing loss in that room. I live in Irvine where all the cookie cutter houses are literally next door to each other. Found a used dual wall whisper room that’s about 7x8.5 ft and put it in the garage. Can now get up to 80-90 dB and it does a good job blocking it out.

Damn saw you had those for sale previously, so hard to replace those now.

Yeah those are so hard to find now. Particularly in good shape. But it was kind of nice moving back to heads. The only issue is the space...it's a vicious cycle haha
hmm, I can't be sure, and this is just my opinion, but with a positive outlook, I honestly think you will be ok regarding the stuff that got away.

oh man, immediately notice the ductless. Badass music room. How good are those units at controlling humidity? I imagine awesome. Been wanting one for years.

Edit: didn't give it a chance to load, holy shite 😍

I've got one in a garage here in south Florida. I just leave the dehumidifier on and my garage feels cooler than my house.

yeah, I think I need one. I have a room that is completely sealed from the rest of the house. It's a room with rooms around it. It was initially built for ceramics classes with a kiln, but I removed the chimney and made it a music room. I didn't realize it would make it the most awesome soundproofing I've ever seen. With 4 walls outside of 4 walls, it's dead silent with my amps cranked, until you get right up to my door. The caveat is it has no access for air. I run a floor multi unit with piping out through my garage out a window. A split system would be ideal to replace my BS.

It's effective and won't compromise your killer setup. It's funny because that setup is very similar to ideal studio control room construction. Room inside of a room.

it's pretty awesome. Even with my janky climate control, I run a consistent 70-75F, 40-50%RH. I have to watch it like a hawk though. The ductless would be so awesome.

Even with a ductless you may still need an air exchanger. Not sure if they all do that honestly. I built an isolated room for my amps, debated sealing off the vents and using a ductless but traveled too far down the rabbit hole on air exchange and gave up lol.

dude... it's a struggle. I have a vent over my entry door. I can open it an feel the air rush in like an active air unit. Just closing the vent, I can hear the floor unit get pissed. I have negative air pressure when the AC is running. I need to move the F out of the northeast. I have 2 more years before both boys leave the nest, and I'm looking for locations.

edit: @PiggySmallz, that's a good point. My air will be completely stagnent. :(

Thanks, man! So, full disclosure, I am in Arizona so outside of a couple monsoon days we have no humidity. However, my friends in HVAC claim they are excellent at controlling humidity and climate. I have a brand new 2.5 ton ac central unit for the room over from this and they feel equal in terms of climate control for whatever that is worth

Love Arizona. Wish I could afford Sedona, I would mountain bike a different trail every other day on a three week rotation until my legs or lungs couldn’t take anymore!

I’ll be in Chandler tomorrow and Scottsdale Friday 🤙🏽

Sedona is so rad. I look back at housing prices there 5 years ago and cry internally. I split time between Phoenix and Prescott (northern arizona).

If you're in town tomorrow you're always welcome to shoot me a pm even for recommendations for food in Chandler or Scottsdale!
