I start every day off in my studio with Back in Black while I'm getting set up, it's how I reset/calibrate.
Absolutely. AC/DC is what I use when sussing out monitors or any audio system really. Other bands as well but they are my first choice. Especially Back in Black.

Damn. Seeing AC/DC Sat night at Allegiant in Vega$. Cannot F'n Wait.

Literally the last time I saw them was '85 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City - Yngwie opened.

Hells yes!! I'm going to see them in a few weeks! Haven't seen them since 88' when I was front row, leaning on the bar.

I saw an AC/DC tribute about two years ago and lost my damn mind, headbanging to "Let There Be Rock". This guy grabbed my shoulder and yelled "go man go!!!". AC/DC just is rock and roll.🤘

Used to see a massive cover band back in Perth, Australia called The Jets in the mid to later 80’s. They would play a great selection of classic rock/hard rock and a little metal. It was a Saturday night ritual and they played in a large pub/hotel.
They actually had pyro on stage. 4 vertical fire blowers across the stage. They would fire them up when they played Highway to Hell and it was just the most epic fucking thing.
They would play Sabbath, Cooper, Deep Purple, Priest, ZZ, Skynyrd, AC/DC etc but it was all done with a hard, two guitar edge. Let There Be Rock would just sound insane because the singer/bassist had the most ridiculous range I’d ever heard. Definitely a standout, live musical memory from my teens, even above original bands I was seeing back then.

That double bill played here in Oakland, October 1985. Some of my friends thought Yngwie was going to steal the show but Angus proved them wrong

I've said for many years that IMHO Back in Black is the definitive, best-arranged-and-produced hard rock album ever.

I still stand by this. You're not gonna find more-intelligible mixes of hard rock, period. Clarity. Space. Groove. Magic.

I went to a show on that tour too. I had seen AC/DC with Bon and after Yngwie played I thought he might steal the show too. YJM was amazing.

But Angus was still Angus and there would be no show stealing on that night.
