Another killer amp from FourT6and2, it's very meany. That feeling when a guy enthusiast makes amplifiers aesthetically pleasing inside and they look better than official products from even boutique companies.

What’s the plate voltage on that JMP?
It’s around 550 unloaded; 120v. I use a variac however and set it to 105-110. Just to be safe…so many of these have replaced PTs, imo due to US voltage being 120-125 and the pt wants to see 110.
A late 70s Dagnall 4145 came with it after I bought it; got lucky and found a period correct T3556 for 125 shipped and swapped it in.

Killer amp!

Sounds great and very tight with 5 gain stages and still retain Marshall attributes and that is hard to do! I would imagine it's hard to control all those gain stages without getting blocking distortion and oscillations! Nice Job FourT6&2!:2thumbsup::rock:

I'm seeing 510-515v loaded. Should be fine without a variac. With this much gain, with a variac, it's gonna sound like a mess haha...

Dam!!
I think I spotted an actual Fairchild compressor in George’s recording rack!
Only the 2nd one I’ve ever seen… Ever…
Lucky bastard!
He needs a Langner DCP1 for his 80’s rack!
😂😂

Then my work is done...btw, I had not touched a guitar in 4mo@the time this clip was filmed but the tone speaks volumes and the amp delivers, Racer has yet to know the fury that awaits!!!
Dude is that you driving that King V?
Well done lad! 👍
We do need a CRANKED clip of that beast!
Cranked enough to do that cool Langner thing where any note fretted will go into mind blowing orgasmic feedback with beautiful overtones for as long as you are willing to hold and vibrato that note !

We can do that. I'm out of town for a wedding, but hopefully Ted and I can get together next week before I ship the amp back to Tom.

Haha yeah, I'm guilty as charged. Definitely the plan to get these amps at volume when the day comes bro.
