that was pretty awesome. Well done Al!
My cousins are there and thought DLR was great. I'll have to ask them what they thought of the drummer.Al sounds great. Drummer doesn't sound like he ever actually listened to the songs.

He does the best EVH imo@Stradazone was crunching some serious numbers! bravo man that was sick!
this guy is forensic with the toneHe does the best EVH imo
Not directed at you but EVH fanboys passing judgement on retired members of VH is pretty cringe as wellthere is a lot of shit going on here that's cringe-worthy
Not sure about the pressure. Al’s been doing VH for what…a couple of decades..more? To say he can play that in his sleep is an understatement.Killer. The unhinged DLR parrallel universe sideshow is worth it alone.
Talk about pressure though, from pricks like us, especially after all the heat Satch got. This guitarist is a better fit, great stuff!
Gear was a dimed Marshall SLP on a variac into Reactive load box and re-amped into 2 JCM800 effects returns, each head powering 2 cabs on each side of stage, it's very loud! hahaAl Estrada.... Terrific!
He not only delivers Eddie’s playing and tone, but also that elusive EVH swing.
Satriani tried to play ‘like the record’ whereas Al wings it just like ‘EVH Live’ .
What gear is Al using?

Thanks for all the positive comments, hope to see some of you on the upcoming tour!
Can’t lie, a bassist with a little stage presence would be better. Sure, don’t want to cost this guy a paying gig but he could look and act a little less like he’s going to his nephews, edgy Bah-mitzvah. Too much Kenny G energyHmmmm.
DLR era VH is my desert island music, and I liked a lot of things about the clip. Some I didn't.
Songs= killer
Al= Fuck YES! MAJOR props for nailing the feel and swing of EVH.
DLR= ehhhh. At least he's consistent. You know what you're gonna get- and it ain't him from back in the day.
Drummer= WTF? Has he ever HEARD a VH tune?
Backing vocalists= sometimes they were good, sometimes they were OFF. Kinda like my backing vocals, now that I think about it- but I'm not onstage with DLR.
Bassist= yes, there was one.
Enjoyable, but I'd be hard pressed to cough up more than a handful frogskins to see this tour.
