Been working on renovating a beat up 1960A. Busted back panel, stripped/broken screws, etc. Finally pieced it back together today.
I took a stab on speakers and it sounds incredible with speakers below. Side by side with my 1960ax…….i think I prefer the Fane/WGS mix. It’s not “better” per se, but tighter and more focused. Fits the heavy stuff better. The 1960ax with UK greenies has more compression and is softer sounding in comparison.
