Hi guys, I've known of Bray for a long while and considered buying one of his Coco models, but being in the EU is a bit of a hassle when it comes to buying American stuff. Anyhoo, this export model turned up down in the Netherlands and I decided to jump on it. Rare stuff on this side of the pond. It got here yesterday, and jeez, it sounds really good. I won't call it versatile, but it has a lot of nuance in that killer plexi vibe it's got. Very much looking forward to cranking it over the weekend.

I don't really know Bray amps and had to go check them out. They sound pretty legit. Congrats on your NAD.

Had a blue one I regre lt selling but thats the way the news goes lol. They're great, underrated amps. Instant VH.

His builds cop the VH Brown Sound better than any amp I've ever heard. Great amps.

Yeah, I guess EVH has always been the main angle there and that´s what he´s known for, and this one is built to those specs too. Not sure what exactly that is relative to a stock ´68, but I suppose all the builders have their own proprietary flavor of values and voltages even when the circuit is more or less original.

This also has push-pull functions for slightly angrier mids and treble to complement different pickups, and also a whole different option with a cascaded preamp that sounds great but is way further into modded territory.
