Marshall Spare Parts Scarcity?

They exist to sell full amplifiers. The parts are generally generic and readily available elsewhere, so why be bothered with a few do-it-yourselfers, who may want to perform returns as well. It’s a distraction from the core business.

But they’re not. That’s my point in my post. Suppliers elsewhere are also going out of stock. You can’t find anything anywhere. Something as simple as knobs for amps could be a real issue.

No, the point of the OP was to blame Marshall’s new ownership. Now you are moving the goal post to include things like global supply chains. Tube amps are fading away, as suppliers age, their children will not take over, the end will arrive within two decades.

You obviously have not looked for any replacement parts lately.

Tube amps have been fading away since the 60’s, yet they are still here….

No. That’s your albeit incorrect opinion of the original post and also gaslighting me on my own topic. Let’s back up a bit since you struggle with reading comprehension.

What are retail stores called? What are distribution centers called? Who do you call when you need something already manufactured sent across the land? Distribution, retail, and storage are all suppliers, not manufacturers.

The point of the OP post is to point out the lack of available necessary parts to maintain these amplifiers due to their age which has ironically became a significant problem just as Marshall has new ownership. This was never an issue before.

My Professor in Electronic school who was an Engineer for McDonnell Douglas now Boeing told me that in 10 years vacuum tube amps would be gone. That was 1985.
That was 40 yrs ago and they're still here.
I don't consider the cheap-ass plastic shit Marshall is making in Vietnam & China the real deal.
I consider them cheap-ass.

Amprepairparts.com was always one of my go-tos for spare Marshall parts, as well as others. They've had this message up for quite a while on their site. They do get stuff in from time to time, and I stock up when I can.

NOTE: MARSHALL STOPPED SHIPPING PARTS TO THE US IN 2023, AFTER THEY WERE BOUGHT

BY ZOUNDS, INC. OF SWEDEN. ON JANUARY 24, 2025, IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT HONGSHAN

CAPITAL GROUP OF BEJING, CHINA WAS BUYING THE COMPANY FROM ZOUNDS.

ONCE WE RUN OUT OF A PARTICULAR ITEM, WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO RESTOCK IT.

So is HongShan stopping production of all amp parts completely since the Marshall website is out of stock of their own stuff?
