None of the writings of the early church fathers contradict scripture. Those ideas that did were condemned in ecumenical councils, the whole point of which was to stamp out heretical teachings.

Orthodoxy/Catholicism/Protestantism are all based on power hungry fucks dependent on their Geography.

The Western Roman Empire became the Catholic Church, who genocided all alternative proto-Christian sects which were based on other global beliefs, until they were the only game in town by the 500’s CE.

The Eastern Roman Empire later became the Orthodox Church in the 1050’s CE.

The Catholic Church later split in the 1500’s CE and Protestantism emerged in England and migrated to the USA.

Every Abrahamic religion is rip-off off whatever came before, especially Christianity in all its forms. It’s just political money based bullshit which needs to be taxed. Anyone who gets sucked into this idiotic tripe needs to be taken out somewhere public and kicked in the

You have no clue what you're talking about. Go back to your gender studies. The earliest churches are all orthodox, and found in the east.

Oh that’s right, your lot and the Catholics all claim you were there first, don’t you?

Whatabout the previous 10,000 years of history, since the end of the most recent Ice Age? Were there men with big beards wearing dresses and waving smelly burning crap around then too?

It’s like children arguing about who’s better, Superman or Batman. Grow up.

For such a science and history nerd you seem to not be able to grasp archaeology. All the oldesrt churches are orthodox.

Lol. Do you always talk completely out of your ass/arse?

You can read up on this here too:

Melton, J. Gordon.
Faiths Across Time: 5,000 Years of Religious History. 4 vols. Santa Barbara, CA: ABC-CLIO, 2014.

(This comprehensive four-volume reference work provides a chronological overview of significant events and developments in religious history from 3500 BCE to 2009 CE. It is widely used in academic libraries and by researchers interested in comparative religious history.)

Peer reviewed evaluation of the above:

Sorry man the full name of the eastern orthodox church is the orthodox catholic church so Gordy Melton didn't even get his names right. It's claim as the oldest church is backed up by archaeology in which all the oldest standing churches are orthodox.

So you're defining yourself by the Orthodox ("correct teaching") use of the word Catholic ("universal") as per the Nicene Creed of 325AD and later ratified in 381AD.
But for Catholics the word Orthodox has no meaning until the Schism of 1054 and the split into Western Europe of Catholics and into Eastern Europe/Asia Minor for Orthodox. It's all just semantic bullshit.

> The bottom line is that there were hundreds of competing religions and therefore governments in Europe and the Byzantine Empire by the early 300's AD.
> In 306AD, Constantine took the throne and by 325AD had had enough of the chaos, called every religious leader he could think of to the Nicean Council and they threw every major religion into the pot and mixed it up.

> Constantine ordered them to keep the common ground good stuff, scratch the Gnostic texts and scary stuff, and out came the agreed central figure of Hesus (British Druidic crucified figure) mixed with Krishna (Hinduism) for their 50 copies of the New Testimonies.

Hesus. Krishna.
Jesus Christ.

> Replace the now pagan festivals with legalised Christianised versions, split the Councils and states off to East and West, enact suitable laws and persecute/execute the dissidents.

There's your religion for you.

It's not. And you don't know what you're talking about. It was the romans who a) wanted papal infallibility b)changed the procession of the holy spirit within the creed. Not stuff you or your passport are gonna understand, or see as important, but it demonstrates you just looked some stuff up and then stated it as fact. You have an outsider's view, and semi retarded atheist's understanding, of the subject.

I know that. Constantine wasn't going to install a Government which could be questioned.

b)changed the procession of the holy spirit within the creed.

Just a silly point of difference between two made up religions designed to control the population. I know Orthodox Christians don't believe in the connection of the Son to the Spirit, but this is like arguing whether Sauron was really friends with Saruman in LotR - it's all make believe.

LoL. You don't know what my experience is with religion.

Either way mate, all of this is just regurgitated dogma with no facts or evidence. Your entire belief is just a mish-mashed faith system of bizarre opinions manipulated by government into law.

Silly points of difference seem to be the crux of many arguments whether it be science or religion. You just keep demonstrating you don't really know what you are talking about with your houghton mifflin talking points but I guess you can play make believe too.
