Any videos of Tom Morello or Vernon Reid being awesome at the Ozzy concert?

Man, some of these folks just become caricatures of themselves and Morello is definitely there. I was honestly shocked but very pleased Grohl was nowhere in sight. Reid sounded like he was running a metal zone into a Gorilla. Every time he missed the timing and wasn’t masked by Nuno it literally sounded like Bees had been let loose on the stage 😁
Looking back on it, considering what it probably took to put it together it wasn’t bad. My hat off to Morello if he was a big part of putting the supergroup stuff together.
Phil Anselmo was hilarious as he made zero effort to not do his usual low mumble when talking, to where nobody in that audience is understanding a thing he says.
I thought Axl seemed like he has lightened up a lot these days and seemed very chill and gracious inbetween songs. I thought the idea of tightly spaced, short sets was amusing if Axl is involved but he’s obviously become much more of a pro on that stuff.
I liked the drum jam during Supernaut with 3 giants of drumming doing the percussion w/Brann.

When you’re voted best guitarist and on the cover of magazines, I expected them to do something impressive.

Seeing that clown Morello on stage with real players getting his ass handed to him is always enjoyable for me.

I’ve never like Vernon either and seeing him not be able to play the fast A string part on the BATM intro was funny.

They tried so hard to fit in. Ha ha ha
Cover of magazines loooooooooooooool

Should of sent the vids into Sharon to try get a slot on the gig bro oh wait nobody gives a fuck
You mean like tom Morello and Vernon Reid? Wow never knew they played in Ozzy's band, you're a font of intelligence and factual information

Talk about Vernon all you want, but if Nuno, we’re doing a Living Colour tribute, he’d be holding his dick if he even has one.
Really? I think he could play it all just fine. I actually love some of Living Color’s stuff. But Vernon as a guest guitarist is bad.

I can’t believe you like him! You have such a soulful bluesy style and you’re into Hendrix, srv, etc…. How in the world can you like Vernon Reid? It doesn’t make sense to me! Lol

So, Vernon would be holding Nuno’s dick?

Every single guitarist that was on stage can out play me by a country mile.

Some had off performances, even Jake screwed up the intro to one of his songs. Who cares.

Nuno has gotten my attention. That guy is a freak of nature. Zakk also absolutely smashed the shit outta it!!!!!!

I am curious if Zakk was actually using the JCM 800s during his Ozzy set???

Overall very cool show.
I think the guitar they handed Jake was out of tune or something.

I watched it a few times and he flat out screwed it up.
I'd have to go back and watch it again, but my initial impression was that the singer came in way early, and that maybe threw Jake off a bit. It could also be that, in that moment, Jake was realizing that his guitar was out of tune for that song. Shot in the Dark has a weird, specific tuning, if I recall correctly.

I've watched a few times...Morello was out of place at this event and Reid embarrassed himself and disrespected the music.

You could be correct, a few folks are saying singer came in early......Jake was shaking his head

Honestly the show would have been a lot better if it had just been a house band made up of former Ozzy members, with various guests dropping in to do Ozzy/Sabbath tunes all day.

How cool would it have been to have Sarzo, Trujilo, Inez, Zakk, Jake, Borden and Clufetos all sharing the stage? Maybe they all could've played Goodbye to Romance in tribute to Randy?

Let's get to the good stuff. What Marshall stacks were they using for the Super Group songs?

Tom Morello organized all of this and did a pretty solid job i think.
Jake was using the Friedman IR-J into the marshall .. not that you could hear him on The Ultimate Sin ... Shot it the dark was better though in terms of his volume but His guitar cut out a bit at the start and he looked pissed about it haha

Always been a fan of Vernon and Living Colour. I will agree he had no business being at an Ozzy tribute. Neither did a lot of other bands/ guitarists.
I was most impressed by Tony Iommi.

F me seeing the clip of Bark at The Moon and Vernon
Also vernon on bark at the moon was absolutely cringeworthy
Totally agree. So out of place on that tune. Like he mailed it in. Not sure why he was there really. That tune is so iconic - play it the right way.
