The Tyler’s will be 10 years old next month.
The pre-owned Tyler’s are going for nearly 6k. Insane!
Giving them their tune up for the summer.

I finally saw a PIA in person a couple weeks ago, the black one I almost bought but decided against it when I saw Ibanez was back ordered to hell and back on them and I bought 4 other guitars with the money I was going to spend, can’t say I’m too bummed about that.

I’m itching to try one of those JTG’s, though. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. The first time I ever played a Tyler it took me about 5 seconds to say “He can make the headstock look however the fuck he wants if they all feel like this”

The PIA is amazing. Had it in the MK VII this morning, just killer.
A friend has a JTG and he loves it. I dig Leon Todd’s JTG vids.
The neck on the white Tyler is the best neck ever, like it was carved to fit my hand.

Very nice. I'd like a white JAMES TYLER GUITAR just like that except I want an upside down JAMES TYLER headstock and triple creme single coils, lol. Apparently great minds think alike. It was a good day for setups. I had to tweak my Edwards ES truss rod this a.m. Still need to intonate though.

Congratulations @CarlF you win the internet today with the JAMES TYLER thread. Pick on!!!

I really dig the rounded edges on the PIA and while I didn’t play it, I wrapped my hand around the neck to compare it to my 7V and it felt quite nice. I know Vai said he wanted them a little thinner, but I’m not sure that’s what I experienced, maybe rounder on the shoulders? I don’t think Vai has had a ton of experience with production JEM necks in a while and whenever he gets one it feels off in comparison to the EVO/Flo necks that are apparently Wizard-thin or thinner.

JAMES TYLER GUITARS will soon be eating into PRS market shares. Paul better come up with something more innovative than lightweight bowel tuners if he hopes to survive.

The Pia is an amazing guitar, I played mine the other night for the first time in a long time and forgot how great it feels and resonates.
