Any 7 string players here not play metal on their 7 strings?

I play plenty of heavy stuff, but I think it has a place in mediocre Blooze too

Strandberg Prog NX7
Fishman Tim Hensons
Reason Reato combo
Dirt Squirrel od pedal

I use my 7 string for alt rock. I have it tuned to a funky low C tuning so I can play B52's songs and New Order songs.

Never tried a 7 string. I have enough trouble with six strings seeing as how I've never actually played a guitar.

The biggest trouble I have going from 6 to 7 is that I like to hang my thumb over the fretboard, which is even less ideal on a 7.

Same. I don't mind a wide neck but that might be a bridge too far if I actually start playing guitar some day.

I feel like if I had a PRS and a JAMES TYLER I would've never been banned from TGP.

If I had a dumble clone they'd probably make me a mod there too.
There’s a real Dumble Winterland on GC’s site for only $180,000 ! Go get it !

Plus the stainless steel frets on the Strandberg hold up really well to the few hours a month I still play lol
